Care may be required for a combination of safety considerations such as essential physical, mental or cognitive health support needs or quality of life considerations, including social or emotional wellbeing. Thinking through an emergency response situation such as a power failure or fire may help determine potential safety concerns for an individual, like can they recognize danger and urgency; are they physically able to exit the home; can they use the phone independently; do they know who to call for assistance.

Your family member has a dedicated team that includes a Care Manager and Scheduler. They will be the link between you and your family member's care team. A member of our local team is available 24/7 to facilitate any updates or requests for caregiver feedback. Family members also have access to an online portal where they can review caregiver notes in real time.

Schedule updates can be completed by contacting the office to speak with either our Care Manager or Scheduler. To provide the highest level of staff consistency, we work with clients to set up an ongoing weekly schedule, however, we know that due to changing health needs, individuals may require more or less care over time. Please give us at least 72 hours notice if you need to change your schedule, unless it’s an emergency. This helps give our staff enough notice and time to find the right caregiver that best fits your schedule and has the right skillset.
