Welcome Amy Joiner!

We welcome Amy Joiner to the Cheer Home Care family as our new Client Success Director!

Amy brings a heartfelt passion for helping businesses make a difference. She’s driven by a deep belief in the power of connection and education and is eager to bridge the gap between seniors and the valuable resources that will empower them.

Originally from Alabama, Amy is the proud mother of two children, whom she adores. Her background, particularly being raised by her paternal grandparents, has instilled in her a deep love for older adults. She often reflects on the cherished bond with her grandmother, who is now 90 and has dementia, as well as the profound impact of her grandfather, who passed away during the pandemic. This personal connection allows Amy to bring both professional expertise, empathy, and understanding to her role.

With a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Cal Poly Humboldt and a Master’s in Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University, Amy’s professional journey has been inspiring. She began her career in Oahu, working with the Kapuna (grandparents) and co-founding a Care Management company with Professor William Hummel. After moving to San Diego in 2012, Amy worked in the home care industry, learning about dementia and collaborating closely with caregivers and community partners.

Her passion for education, advocacy, and support for seniors has only grown over the years, and now, in her role as Director of Client Success, she is fully committed to making a meaningful impact here at Cheer Home Care. Please join us in welcoming Amy!
