Cheer Home Care is excited to welcome Amanda Hughes as our new Chief Operating Officer, with an impressive background and a passion for delivering outstanding services!
Amanda brings over 20 years of diverse experience including the healthcare industry, showcasing her expertise in managing complex medical practices and building healthcare teams. Recently she successfully managed a medical practice with approximately 40 providers through the pandemic, incorporating both western and eastern medical philosophies. Though new to the home care industry, Amanda’s extensive experience in healthcare management positions her perfectly. She has a proven track record of building out departments, overseeing finance, HR, and compliance, and contributing to sales and strategy building. Prior to joining us, Amanda served as the Chief Operating Officer at Pacific Standard Environmental.
Originally from Oregon, Amanda has mostly lived in sunny Southern California and is now soaking up the lifestyle in Encinitas. She loves experiencing all that the area has to offer, from its stunning beaches to its vibrant restaurant scene. When she is not at work, she is passionate about health and fitness. You may find her hangliding over La Jolla Shores,driving her motorcycle along the coast, or relaxing with her dogs at the beach. Her love for adventure and staying active is a testament to her energetic and dynamic approach to life and work.
