During the session, Dr. Guidry shared her insights on maintaining a continuum of care, emphasizing the importance of avoiding crises through early planning and education. Her unique perspective as a hospice medical director and mobile physician has allowed her to support families in making critical healthcare decisions. She addressed key aspects of late-stage healthcare, including Advance Care Planning (ACP), capacity evaluations, and aligning family goals through physician-led meetings.
