We’re excited to welcome Bryce Arikawa to the Cheer Home Health Care family as our new Recruiting Assistant! Bryce started at Cheer as a dedicated caregiver, building meaningful relationships with clients and gaining appreciation for the wisdom and perspective of older adults.
When a client’s condition required Bryce to step back from caregiving, Cheer’s Scheduling Manager Gail reached out with the opportunity to join the recruiting team — a role Bryce finds both exciting and fulfilling. Bryce excels at connecting individuals with careers and being a part of the behind-the-scenes process of home and health care. From conducting phone and in-person interviews to assisting with various administrative tasks, Bryce enjoys helping others find jobs that make a difference. A true people person, Bryce is engaging, warm, and genuinely interested in hearing people’s stories.
Originally from Northern California, Bryce moved to San Diego for college and is now in their fourth year, studying global health at UCSD, with graduation set for June 2026. After beginning studies in real estate and business economics, Bryce discovered his passion for global health and continues to explore ways to make a positive impact. With long-term goals still taking shape, Bryce is eager to gain experience, learn from the team, and see where this journey at Cheer leads.
Outside of work, Bryce enjoys working out, spending time with friends, and traveling. He has explored much of Europe and dreams of visiting Africa and Asia. We are thrilled to have Bryce join the Cheer family and love the energy and positivity he brings to our team!
