Calling all Bird Rockers! Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make a positive impact in our community? We’ve got an opportunity for you this weekend to do just that! Cheer Homes Care looks forward to joining La Jolla Parks and Beaches and the Kiwanis Club of La Jolla in their ongoing efforts to maintain the La Jolla Bike Path, stretching from Nautilus Street to Camino De La Costa. As advocates for community well-being, we’re committed to supporting local initiatives.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 20th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, and join I Love A Clean San Diego for the annual Coast to Creek city-wide cleanup. This half-day event will focus on the north end of the bike path, and they need volunteers like you to lend a hand. Volunteers are needed to assist with various tasks along the bike path, including pruning, weeding to keep foxtails at bay, and improving visibility for the safety of cyclists and pedestrians. Check-in will be located at 751 Bonair Street (please note that adult volunteers must sign a waiver at check-in, and those under 16 will require a parent’s signature).

This cherished pathway needs to remain a beautiful and accessible asset for our neighborhood. Cheer Homes Care will be there alongside you, ready to make a difference and spread kindness throughout our community!

If you’re interested in joining, please reach out to Debbie Adams at 858-752-2171 for more information and to sign up.
